1. Introduction
ShopPilot ("we," "our," or "us") is a Shopify application that provides AI-powered chatbot services to help merchants automate customer support, enhance shopping experiences, and increase sales conversions.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the ShopPilot application and any related services provided by us.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using ShopPilot, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not install or use our application.
Your continued use of ShopPilot after any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
3. Use of the App
You agree to use ShopPilot in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Shopify's policies and terms of service. Specifically, you must not:
- Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any international, federal, provincial, or local laws
- Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or customers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
- Use the app to transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or servers
4. Account & Installation
To use ShopPilot, you must:
- Have an active Shopify store with a valid Shopify account
- Install ShopPilot through the Shopify App Store
- Grant necessary permissions for app functionality
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date store information
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Fees & Billing
ShopPilot offers subscription plans including Starter, Pro, and Elite tiers. Billing is handled through Shopify's billing system:
- Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually as selected
- All payments are processed through Shopify's secure billing system
- You will be charged in your store's default currency
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension or termination of your access to ShopPilot.
6. Data & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our data handling practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which covers:
- Types of data we collect and how we use it
- Secure data storage using Supabase infrastructure
- Data sharing practices and third-party services
- Your rights regarding your personal data
- Data retention and deletion policies
By using ShopPilot, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in ShopPilot, including but not limited to:
- Application source code and algorithms
- User interface design and graphics
- ShopPilot brand name, logos, and trademarks
- Documentation and marketing materials
- Proprietary technology and methods
remain the exclusive property of ShopPilot. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
ShopPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities
- Loss or corruption of data
- Business interruption or downtime
- System failures or technical issues
- Third-party service interruptions
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the app subscription in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Your access to ShopPilot terminates automatically when you uninstall the app from your Shopify store. Additionally, we may terminate or suspend your access if you:
- Breach these Terms and Conditions
- Violate applicable laws or Shopify policies
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive activities
- Fail to pay subscription fees
Upon termination, your data may be deleted from our systems within 24-48 hours, and you will lose access to all app features and services.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting within the app or notifying users via email.
Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use of ShopPilot after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Shopify Compliance Notice
ShopPilot complies with Shopify's API Terms of Service and App Requirements. We do not use store data beyond what is necessary for app functionality, and all data is automatically deleted upon app uninstallation.
